Short Stories ~ Deadlox

When he finally reached home, he was very tired from his long journey. All of the town folk welcomed him back, he was a hero to them. He had once saved the town from a giant slime invasion, since then all the people respected him with the highest of honer and respect. Deadlox walked in his mansion, the biggest house in the land. He put all of his new items in a chest. An Iron Pic,  Iron boots, Diamond Chest, 3 Obsidian, and 2 diamonds. He sighed. "God, that was a long trip, I should rest for a few days before I do another long one like that." He said to himself. He laid down his enchanted diamond sword and took off his armor.

"Damn, sunset already? This day went by fast, I guess it would, I was gone all day." He was cutting down some trees he planted and were fully grown. He was lucky to find any saplings out here, the village that had them were very protective and put up quite a fight. Deadlox won.

Deadlox took the wood he had cut down and went inside. He put the wood in the supplies chest and the iron ax in the tools chest. It was almost completely dark out, monsters would soon come out and prowl around for something to kill. He hoped thet no foolish person strayed outside the town fence. Deadlox walked upstairs and laid down in his bed. "Ahhh, so tired..." He slowly drifted off into a nice sleep.

Deadlox was walking in the normal path around the outside of the town for patrolling. He looks into the distance, there was something there. "Odd, there was never anything there before, a new village perhaps?" He walked closer to it. He could almost see what it was. He was so close!

Deadlox woke up. "Wooh, what a weird dream...I don't remember much of it though so it must not matter that much." He slowly got up out of his soft bed, he didn't want to but he knew he had a job to do. To protect the town folk and survive while doing it. He got his looting 1, sharpness 3, knock back 2 Diamond sword. "Gotta love my sword..." he smiled proudly. He got on his new Diamond Chest and Iron boots, along with his older Diamond leggings and Iron Helmet.

He went outside, it was a nice day. "Time to relax with a walk..." He put his sword in a holster on his back. Deadlox walked around the outside of the town fence. He remembered parts of his dream the previous night. Something in the distance while walking...

Deadlox was almost done walking, he glanced out in the distance every once in a while. This time, he did see something. "My dream must have actually meant something!" He ran to the distant object. When he got to it, he couldn't believe what he had just discovered.
